Mainline ("the Service") is a project management application for software teams, operated by Kipple PTY LTD (ACN 696 825 662, ABN 50 696 825 662), trading as Mainline Systems, an Australian company ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You authenticate via a third-party OAuth provider (Google or GitHub). We do not store passwords. You must keep your OAuth account secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
The Service is offered in two tiers: Team up to 8 ($99/month or $990/year) and Team up to 16 ($179/month or $1,790/year). All plans include a 14-day free trial. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as merchant of record. Paddle handles invoicing, payment processing, sales tax, and compliance. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until cancelled.
Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle after the notice period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account panel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until that date. See our Refund Policy for details.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You own your data. We do not claim intellectual property rights over the content you create in the Service. We store and process your data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.
The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by Kipple PTY LTD trading as Mainline Systems. Mainline is a registered trademark in Australia. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended.
We use reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or interruptions beyond our reasonable control. Data is backed up frequently.
The Service includes documentation describing software engineering practices such as continuous delivery, pair programming, and decoupling strategies. This content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. Outcomes depend on how your team applies these practices in your own context. We make no guarantees regarding the results of adopting any practice described in the documentation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including any arising from reliance on documentation or practices described within the Service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
