How to read this

Each bar shows how many stories took that many days from first assignment to release. A narrow, left-leaning distribution means fast, predictable delivery.

• Tall bar on the left? Most stories ship quickly. The team has short feedback loops.
• Wide spread? Lead times are unpredictable. Some stories are stuck for long stretches. Look for patterns in what gets stuck.
• Outlier bars on the right? A few stories took much longer than average. Often these are stories that could have been split earlier.
• Bimodal (two humps)? Two different types of work with different dynamics. Consider whether they should be tracked separately.
